Benefits of a Catch Basin

Catch basins are often incorporated into drainage systems. A catch basin has some sort of grate on top and a drainage pipe that slopes away from the basin. The basin is installed at a low point of the property and can be quite inconspicuous.  Catch basins ensure proper drainage and filter out debris which prevents downstream pipes from becoming clogged. Catch basins can be a stand alone solution or integrated into a larger drainage design.
